The consortium provides affordable, current, quality trauma education for health professionals.
The Bay Area Trauma Education Consortium (TEC) was founded in 1986. TEC
membership consists of Trauma Program Managers, Nursing Educators and
Clinical Nurse Specialists from the San Francisco Bay Area Trauma Centers.
These centers include:
- Alameda County Medical Center, Highland Campus
- Children's Hospital & Research Center at Oakland
- Eden Medical Center
- John Muir Medical Center
- Regional Medical Center
- San Francisco General Hospital
- Santa Clara Valley Medical Center
- Stanford University Medical Center
- Associate members include the University of California, San Francisco Division of Critical Care/Trauma Nursing.
